Project Status: Completed
The Land Group along with RDP Architects from Salt Lake City, Utah were commissioned to remodel the existing courtyard at the LDS Temple in Oakland, California. The Land Group worked with the Senior Landscape Architect for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to come up with a design that complemented the Art Deco building façade. Plants were selected according to Oakland’s seasonal Mediterranean climate and with relatively short height to accentuate the unique water feature and church building behind. This project was completed in 2016. The Land Group is currently working with the client to update the rest of the Temple site landscape and irrigation system.
