The Land Group is designing a year-round track facility for Cascade High School. The facility will be located north of Kelly’s Whitewater Park in downtown Cascade. It will utilize Cascade’s natural resource, a geothermal spring, to create a heated track surface which will allow it to be available for the school and the community to use throughout the winter months by melting the snow. Moving forward of this project will be dependent on the successful bond measure this month.
Tuesday was an exciting day on the BSU campus. BSU officially began construction on the $50 million Micron Center for Materials Research and celebrated with a groundbreaking ceremony, including Boise State University President, Dr. Kustra, and representatives from Micron Technology Inc.
The four-story, 85,000-square-foot world-class facility will provide more than 40 research laboratories and spaces, state-of-the-art teaching spaces, a 250-seat lecture hall, two 80-seat classrooms, offices and work spaces for faculty members, staff and graduate students, advancing materials research at Boise State.
The Land Group, Inc is proud to be a member of the Micron Center for Materials Research design team, providing civil engineering and surveying services.
