Chad joined the Land Group in 2019. Chad holds a master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Idaho. Prior experience includes researching resiliency among the food, energy, and water systems of the Snake River Basin as part of a federal grant. Environmental planning at the 2-million-acre scale informed Chad’s design perspective; all decisions, regardless of scale, impact people and places well beyond property lines. Whether Chad is designing a commercial pad, an urban amenity deck, or a playground, his work strives to preserve the Intermountain West’s assets while addressing its emerging challenges. When his CAD finger needs a rest, you can find Chad breathlessly chasing his toddler and wife in any number of the region’s inspiring places.
