The Transit Center was designed to accommodate not only buses and cars, but major pedestrian and bicycle traffic. The Land Group was contracted to provide landscape architecture and civil engineering services for the Boise State University Transit Center. The project included site design for a three bus bay, “kiss-n-go” bay for vehicles, community gathering plaza, major pedestrian circulation corridor, bus shelter area, site furnishings, and landscaping. Our firm collaborated with the Ada County Highway District, City of Boise, and Boise State University to facilitate the development of this functional and cohesive multi-modal transportation circulation design. Site concepts were developed into full construction documents including site layout, details, grading, landscape and irrigation plans.
